The key difference is in their mechanism: Profhilo works primarily through a high concentration of hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and remodel the skin, while SuneKOS combines hyaluronic acid with a specific blend of amino acids to trigger dermal biogenesis at a cellular level. SuneKOS is often the preferred choice for more advanced signs of ageing, particularly where skin laxity, crepiness, or under-eye concerns are the primary focus. What to expect
Consultation with your doctor
Every SuneKOS treatment at Refind Aesthetics begins with a thorough medical consultation. Dr Dana will assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most appropriate SuneKOS formulation and treatment plan for you.
Treatment (30–45 minutes)
A series of small microinjections are placed across the treatment area, delivering the amino acid and hyaluronic acid complex evenly into the skin. Most clients describe the treatment as very comfortable, and a numbing cream can be applied beforehand if preferred.
Course
A course of three sessions spaced seven to ten days apart is recommended for optimal results, with maintenance treatments every four to six months.
Results
Visible improvements in skin texture and radiance typically begin after the second or third session, with continued regeneration in the weeks following your course as collagen and elastin production increases.
